To enjoy the Cebu island attraction, you need to visit Ayala Center; in the Cebu Business Park, Ayala Center Cebu is a new and expansive shopping mall. Ayala Center Cebu is the region’s premier shopping, dining, and entertainment destination. It has hundreds of eateries and retail shops, movie theaters, a rooftop park, a children’s play area, and various open spaces with manicured lawns. It is easily accessible by public transportation and is conveniently situated within walking distance of several nearby hotels.

Ayala Center is one of the Cebu island attractions in the Philippines, it is a non-profit organization Ayala Cebu is a massive island, and you can get lost the first few times you visit. BASILICA DEL SANTO NINO, Cebu island attraction

Are you looking for a Cebu island attraction, then visit Basilica del Santo Nino. This famous church dates back to the early Spanish colonial era. The miraculous image of Sto Nino could also be found in the church. The oldest church in the Philippines is this 16th-century basilica. It was said to be constructed on the site where Spanish explorers discovered an image of the Santo Nio (Infant Jesus) in 1565. The image is thought to be the Philippines’ oldest religious relic.

The Cebu Church Museum tells the story of Christianity in the Philippines and makes it a Cebu island attraction. Furniture, priests’ vestments, church silverware for mass, and various Santo Nio vestments and jewelry are among the antiques on display. 

The Basilica del Santo Nino’s tenets of “Mercy and Passion” continue to draw many locals to worship on a regular basis. This Catholic Church holds a weekly mass for families and children to demonstrate their religion.

Take a tour of the church halls to see ancient sculptures, beautiful archways, stained glass windows, and overall awe-inspiring architecture. The museum houses artifacts from the 17th century, and the library houses books on a variety of contemporary topics.

TUMALOG FALLS, Cebu City Philippines

Tumalog Falls on Cebu Island is one of the Philippines’ most spectacular waterfalls and Cebu island attractions. The falls’ turquoise waters aren’t quite as vivid as those at Kawasan Falls, but the sheer scale of the waterfall makes it a beautiful place to visit. Tumalog Falls in South Cebu was only discovered in 2012 due to its remote location, but luckily, the waterfall is now easily accessible by road.

It’s a fantastic place to visit as part of a day trip to South Cebu’s incredible waterfalls. Aguinid Falls and Kawasan Falls are Cebu island attractions,  the waterfalls are worth seeing on the island.

CASA GORORDO MUSEUM, Cebu Island attraction

The Casa Gorordo Museum, in the heart of Cebu City, was once a private residence designed in the 1850s by Alejandro Reynes Y Rosales and later owned by Juan Isidro de Gorordo, a wealthy Spanish merchant. The house was passed down through the Gorordo family, who lived there for four generations, including Juan Gorordo, the first Filipino bishop of Cebu.

The house is now a public museum and a national historic landmark, with antique furniture, historic books and records, decorative arts, household objects, period costumes, and memorabilia from the Spanish colonial period, it is one of the Cebu island attractions. Casa Gorordo is one of only three colonial-era houses still standing, and it provides a look into life in Cebu’s early days.

The house’s construction is a fascinating architectural study in and of itself, as it incorporates Spanish, native, and Chinese influences. The coral-covered bottom floor was built to keep the house cool during the midday sun. Instead of screws, wooden pegs were used to hold the upper floor together.

OSMEA PEAK, Cebu City Philippines

I realized I had to include Osmea Peak in my itinerary when planning my trip to Cebu island attractions in the Philippines. I have seen pictures of this breathtaking viewpoint before and knew it had to be included in my Cebu itinerary.

The highest mountain in Cebu, Osmea Peak, is a bit of a challenge to visit. If you’re looking for tips on how to explore Osmea Peak, you’ve come to the right spot.

Osmea Hill, Cebu’s highest mountain, is the “peak” spot from which you can get breathtaking 360-degree views of the island. It is Cebu’s most popular and beautiful viewpoint.

For 3,000 PHP (US$ 60) you can rent a private car to and from Osmea Top. Along the way back, this Osmea Peak tour package involves stops at waterfalls.

Renting scooters, in addition to private cars, is a common mode of transportation to and from Osmea Peak. Scooter rental costs 200 PHP (US$ 4) for manual scooters and 400 PHP (US$ 8) for automatic scooters per day.
